Professional affidavit and legal-support online notary services

iRemoteNotary notarizes eligible professional affidavits and agency documents in a live audio-video session with a commissioned U.S. online notary. Send the unsigned document, tell us who will sign, and start a request. If you already know your role, choose a page below.

Who this is for

This service is for the professional who signs and for the company that routes that signer to a session. Choose the page that matches the document.

How a session starts

  • Choose the audience page if you already know the document.
  • Start the request.
  • Name the organization and the signer.
  • Describe the unsigned document in the notes, including the title and any form number.

Send the unsigned document first

Yes. Review happens before scheduling. If the page prints a notarial certificate, the session is set up to match that certificate. If the page is only a penalty-of-perjury declaration, we tell you that and do not notarize a certificate that is not there.

Your organization can coordinate the session

The person who submits the request can be a coordinator. The signer is the person who appears on camera and is named on the notarial certificate. Include the organization name, whether the requester is the signer, the document title, any form number and revision, the recipient court or agency, and whether the page shows a notarial certificate or a penalty-of-perjury declaration.

Traveling signers and signers outside the United States

Yes. A signer can be traveling or outside the United States when the commissioning state's online-notary rules allow the appearance. An international session commonly starts at $50 for one signer and one notarization. The receiving party still decides acceptance. Read the appearance rule on the affidavit of service guide, or the general page to notarize a U.S. affidavit while abroad.
