How the Service Works
1. Submit the Request
The customer provides the unsigned document, signer details, witness needs, identification type, location, and preferred session time.
2. Review Eligibility and Requirements
The request is reviewed for document type, signer readiness, identification, witness needs, platform compatibility, and any receiving-organization instructions supplied by the customer.
3. Complete the Secure Session
An eligible signer joins a live online session with a properly commissioned remote online notary, completes the required identity-verification process, and signs electronically.
4. Receive the Completed Document
The completed electronic document is delivered securely after the session. The customer remains responsible for confirming any recording, filing, apostille, authentication, original-document, or receiving-organization requirements.
National and International Service
Remote online notarization can allow eligible signers to participate from locations across the United States and from many locations abroad. The commissioned notary must follow the law governing the notary's commission and the requirements of the approved platform used for the session.
